I work with couples and singles experiencing sexual and/or relationship challenges. During initial sessions I help clients explore their relationship patterns. Using Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques I support your relationship system in developing greater empathy and understanding. Most couples report notable improvement within the first few months of therapy. specialty is bringing an Afro-centric focus to a predominantly Western therapeutic approach to treatment. I have witnessed evidence-based interventions falling short in treating and addressing the complexities of the Black experience.
